Guinea Fowl Snake hunters in KILLARA, Victoria for sale

I have approximately 15 Guinea Fowl they are all about 6 months old.
Guinea Fowl and very efficient snake hunters.
They will hunt as a group and surround an adult snake and continually strike from different angles. They will also seek out young snakes and easily dispatch them.
So if you have a rural property and want to reduce numbers around your home these are a great answer. They like to roost in tall trees, so at night they are safe from foxes and other predators. During the day they do their own thing and race around the property looking for goodies to eat.
They are not huge nest builders and tend to lay eggs mostly in the chooks nests. I haven't had a broody one yet but the chooks are happy to have their eggs and incubate them.
These guinea's have a chook for a mum and are very happy living with the chooks and the ducks.
They eat most things, and are happy with chook pellets but have a sweet spot for 'wild bird' mix. So if you are trying to catch them or train them to come when you call, which they do. A hand full of the mix is a good tool.
