1966 Holden HR V8 with 9" ford rear end - massive price drop in KILLARA, Victoria for sale

Extremely rare, Original Holden HR 1966, BUT with a few exciting changes. This project is near completion and currently registered in South Australia, but resides in Victoria. A 253 V8 Holden motor has been fitted with custom extractors and exhaust. The Automotive transmission uses a B&M shifter, and the drive train is finished off beautifully with a ford 9" rear end differential. Loads of suspension upgrades with wishbone and k frame modifications have already been completed. Full HQ disc brake front end and also rack and pinion steering completed. Custom extractors and huge custom Radiator also fitted. This car is able to be driven away immediately as it is fully functional in all areas of operation. Drives beautifully and a reasonable example of a very well kept original 1966 HR Holden. Exhaust is very quiet, ahhh but it certainally takes off from the lights like no other HR Holden that I have ever driven. The body and paintwork is not show room condition as this is not a show car, but overall it is a good example for its 48 years of delivering service to various owners. That being said, it is capable of easily becoming a show car to the right owner. There is no chasis rust in any way shape or form, so the successful purchaser can continue on with the engineering certification with great confidence. A lot of the hard work has been done and local advice suggests not a great deal will be required to finalise engineering certificates.
Huge amounts of money has been spent as the intention was to keep this car forever. All the modifications were completed with high quality in mind at all times. However my circumstances have changed and regretfully my pride and joy must find a new home.
